Some of our favorite forward-thinking designers like Paloma Wool and Nikki Chasin have been showing checks for a few seasons now. We see it as the next iteration from the sweeter, more feminine gingham print which has been prevalent for a few years.
STYLING TIPS: Although the print is inherently sporty, and you can certainly lean into the 90’s skater/utility/grunge vibe, there’s another option as well. You can check both boxes and mix with more tailored or silky pieces to elevate your look to a more bold, lady-like 80’s vibe.
