As summer is winding down, we thought it would be the perfect time to post an edit highlighting our favorite fabric of the moment. It’s the transition between seasons that makes me the most excited for some fresh inspiration while thrifting. Maybe you have one more weekend away or a special trip to the beach coming up. Either way, we are seeing terry cloth [aka towel texture] is an incoming trend with staying power from now through next year! Also, there are some great vintage options out there whether you’re shopping your go-to local joint or our online picks below.

From tunics to matching sets, terry tends to lend itself to bold colors and beach-y silos. We recommend not shying away from a simple 90’s hoodie or basic polo which can both easily mix into your wardrobe, adding that unassuming yet undeniable fun factor. Try styling your terry piece on weekends and for daytime as if you’re playing a tennis match, adding sneakers and a sporty bag. For a beach outing or seaside meal on vacation, add natural jewels and statement sandals.
